Sherry Jensen Named Chief Financial Officer at Halifax Regional Medical Center

Sherry Jensen is the new chief financial officer at Halifax Regional Medical Center, effective May 29, 2006. 

Jensen will have responsibility for all of the financial departments of the medical center in addition to Materials Management, Information Systems, and Compliance.  A native of West Virginia, Jensen has 23 years of hospital leadership experience.  She has served as chief financial officer at Granville Medical Center in Oxford and Heritage Hospital in Tarboro and at El Dorado Hospital and Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona.  Jensen received her bachelor's degree from Fairmont State College in Fairmont, WV and a master's in business administration from the University of Phoenix on-campus business school in Tucson.

Sherry and her husband, Joe, have two adult children.  Sherry and Joe plan to reside in Roanoke Rapids.
