New Physician Comes to Roanoke Rapids
Albert Curseen, MD is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine

ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC – (May 21, 2007) – Albert Curseen, MD has joined Twin City Internal Medicine Cardiology & Pulmonary.

Curseen is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  He is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia.  In addition, Curseen completed a fellowship in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center

  “I am quite comfortable with the way medicine is practiced here,” Curseen said.  “The staff and patients are making my transition to the Roanoke Valley a pleasant experience.”

At Twin City Internal Medicine, Curseen joins Jose Antony, MD and John Puntenveetil, MD, who specialize in cardiology. “The addition of Dr. Curseen to our staff will fill a void in the pulmonary and sleep medicine specialties,” said Annie Anthony, Office Manager for Twin City Internal Medicine.  “His knowledge and experience will be a great asset to our patients and our practice,” she continued.

Located at 306 Becker Drive in Roanoke Rapids, Twin City Internal Medicine specializes in cardiovascular and pulmonary care.  The practice is accepting new patients, and referrals are not necessary to see a physician.
