Abrahan Chaparro, MD Joins Practice 

ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC – (December 28, 2006) – Abrahan Chaparro, MD has joined the Roanoke Clinic, the family medical office of Halifax Regional.

Dr. Chaparro is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice.  He is a graduate of the National University of Columbia and completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati.    After completing his residency, Dr. Chaparro supervised interns in the medical program at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio.

At the Roanoke Clinic, Dr. Chaparro teams with James Kubley, MD and Kenneth Robert, MD, both board-certified physicians in family practice.  “I really like the way the practice at Roanoke Clinic is arranged,” said Chaparro.

 “With Dr. Chaparro’s addition, we will be able to schedule appointments more promptly,” said Robert Barbee, Clinic Manager for Halifax Regional.  Dr. Chaparro enjoys treating children.

Chaparro is fluent in Spanish as well as English.  He and his wife, Elizabeth, and their two children have moved into their new home in Roanoke Rapids.  “The people of the Roanoke Valley are extremely nice, and the weather is wonderful,” he added.

Located at 1385 Medical Center Drive in Roanoke Rapids, Roanoke Clinic provides family health services, immunizations, lab testing and women’s health.  The Clinic also offers allergy testing and treatment and education for diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure.
