Halifax Works Occupational Health Clinic Plans Move
New Facility Will Be Larger & More Convenient for Patients

 
ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC – (September 19, 2007) – Halifax Works, the occupational health clinic used by many of the Roanoke Valley’s employers for employee health services, is moving to a new location.

Halifax Works will open October 1 in the Halifax Regional Annex (formerly RiverStone Counseling Center) at 210 Smith Church Road on the Medical Center campus. The new location will be more convenient for patients, who will benefit from the larger, more modern space.

Established in 2000 as a service of Halifax Regional, Halifax Works provides occupational health and pre-employment screening services for businesses in the region. “Halifax Works has been an invaluable service to many employers in the Roanoke Valley,” said Henry Robertson, Marketing Coordinator for Halifax Regional. “The clinic’s reputation as a quality provider for workers compensation injury treatment, drug and alcohol screening services, and job-related physicals has resulted in the need for additional space,” he added.

The clinic will be closed Friday, September 28, to move supplies and test equipment in the new location.
