Interventional Cardiologist Joins Halifax Regional

Nadim A. Geloo, MD Will Expand Cardiology Services

 

ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC – (October 1, 2007) – Nadim Geloo, MD, an interventional cardiologist, has opened his office in Roanoke Rapids at Halifax Regional.

Dr. Geloo is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. He will provide interventional and invasive cardiology services to patients who are referred by their personal physicians. His office is located in a newly renovated portion of the Cardiopulmonary Department on the first floor of Halifax Regional.

Dr. Geloo is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical Center of Delaware in Wilmington, DE. He also completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and another fellowship in Interventional Cardiology Diseases at East Carolina University.

Before coming to Roanoke Rapids, Dr. Geloo practiced Interventional Cardiology at NOVA Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, VA

Dr. Geloo joins the cardiology staff at Halifax Regional which includes Somasekhara Balla, MD and Natarajan Manickam, MD.

“Having completed fellowship training at East Carolina University, I have a personal knowledge of the unique beauty and character of the people and places in eastern North Carolina,” said Dr. Geloo, “I am delighted that I now have the opportunity to return.”
