ROANOKE CLINIC EXPANDS SERVICE
Diana L. Dillard is New Nurse Practitioner
ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC – (June 22, 2007) – Diana L. Dillard, a certified Nurse Practitioner, has joined the Roanoke Clinic, the family medical office of Halifax Regional.

Dillard is a graduate of the East Carolina University School of Nursing,, where she earned a Masters of Science degree. She is certified by the North Carolina Board of Medicine as a Nurse Practitioner.
A family nurse practitioner is trained to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative healthcare services under the supervision of a physician. Nurse practitioners take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays, make diagnoses, and prescribe medications. They also treat minor injuries.
“With Donna’s addition to our staff of medical professionals at Roanoke Clinic, we are offering excellent service to more patients,” said Robert Barbee, Clinic Manager for Halifax Regional. “Our patients can schedule appointments more promptly,” he added.
Located at 1385 Medical Center Drive in Roanoke Rapids, Roanoke Clinic is staffed by three board-certified physicians: James Kubley, MD, Kenneth Robert, MD, and Abrahan Chaparro, MD. The Clinic provides family health services, immunizations, lab testing and women’s health. The Clinic also offers allergy testing and treatment and education for diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure.
