Physician Joins Rural Health Group
Dr. Elizabeth Butcher Has Training and Experience in North Carolina

 

ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC – (October 3, 2007) – Elizabeth Butcher, MD has joined Rural Health Group of Roanoke Rapids and the medical staff of Halifax Regional.



Dr. Butcher is certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties. She received her medical degree at West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Cone Hospital in Greensboro, where she served as Attending Chief Resident.

Dr. Butcher has practiced at High Point Regional Hospital and Geisinger Health System in Danville, PA.
“I am happy to have this opportunity to care for patients at the Rural Health Group,” said Dr. Butcher. “I love North Carolina, and everyone in Roanoke Rapids is making the transition to this area very easy.”
